Privacy policy
Last updated 18 September 2026. This policy covers khanjankavani.com and everything on it.
The short version
This site does not track you. There is no analytics, no advertising, no cookies set by me, and no account to create. Nothing you type into a calculator or a game leaves your device. What little is unavoidable is written out below rather than buried.
What changed, and when
Until September 2026 this site carried Google Analytics and Google AdSense, and an earlier version of this page described both at length. Both were removed on 18 September 2026, from every page, and the ad units were deleted rather than switched off.
I would rather the site be consistent with what I say about software than earn a small amount from watching people read a calculator. The tools cost me nothing to run, so nothing has to pay for them.
Who runs this site
This site is operated by Khanjan Kavani, an individual based in Surat, Gujarat, India. For anything in this policy, write to hello@khanjankavani.com. That address is monitored and replies usually come within two working days.
What the tools and games do with your input
Every calculator and every game on this site runs as JavaScript inside your browser. When you type a loan amount into the EMI calculator, or an income figure into the tax calculator, or upload a photo to the image compressor, that information stays on your device. It is not transmitted to any server, not logged, and not stored anywhere I can reach it. Close the tab and it is gone.
Game high scores and a few preferences are held in your browser's own local storage, on your device. Clearing your browser data removes them. They are never uploaded.
Cookies
This site sets none. Not necessary ones, not analytics ones, not advertising ones. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.
Local storage, used for game scores and preferences, is not a cookie: it is never sent to a server, and it stays in your browser until you clear it.
The one thing that does still happen
Being accurate matters more than sounding clean, so here is the only way any data about your visit exists at all.
Server logs. My web host, Hostinger, records a standard access log when a page is served: IP address, browser and device type, the page requested, the referring page and the time. This is how web servers work, it happens before any of my code runs, and I cannot switch it off. I do not read these logs for anything other than diagnosing a fault, and I do not combine them with anything else. Hostinger's own terms govern how long they keep them.
That is the whole list. Every page on this site is served entirely from this domain: the stylesheet, the typefaces, the images and the code. Your browser is never asked to contact anyone else, so nobody else learns that you were here.
Fonts, which used to be on this list
Until 19 September 2026 the typefaces were loaded from Google's font service, which meant every visitor's browser made a request to fonts.googleapis.com and revealed their IP address to Google. No cookie was set and no identifier was passed, but it was still a third party watching people arrive.
They are now served from this domain, so that request no longer happens. You can confirm it: open your browser's developer tools, load any page here, and look at the network tab. Every request goes to khanjankavani.com and nowhere else.
If you email me
When you write to hello@khanjankavani.com, I receive your email address and whatever you put in the message. It is used to reply to you and, if we end up working together, to run that project. It is not added to a mailing list, not sold, and not shared. If you would like our correspondence deleted, ask and it will be.
Links to other sites
Some pages link out to other websites. Once you leave khanjankavani.com you are covered by that site's privacy policy, not this one. I have no control over how other operators handle your data.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13. Since it collects nothing from anybody, it collects nothing from children either.
Your rights
You can ask what information relating to you I hold, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and object to its processing. Since I collect nothing, the honest answer is usually “your emails, if you have sent me any, and nothing else”. Requests go to hello@khanjankavani.com.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the revised version appears on this page with a new date at the top. If anything is ever added that collects data, it will be stated here plainly and before it starts, not after.
